The District Council of Mount Remarkable Community Assistance Grant Program (CAGP) offers support to local non-profit community groups and services.
Applications are sought from non-profit organisation, community and sporting groups based in the Council’s Local Government area and/or those principally serving the Council district.
The CAGP is aimed at providing community groups and organisations with the opportunity to obtain funds for projects which cannot easily be obtained from other sources.
An amount up to $20,000 will be available for funding. Projects or events must demonstrate how they will positively impact residents of the District Council of Mount Remarkable.
2019 Community Assistance Grant Council received 13 applications for the 2019 Community Assistance Grant. Councillors considered the applications and allocated the following grant funding:
-Organisation Funding Booleroo Centre Lions Club $5,000
-Melrose District History Society $1,700
-Melrose Memorial Bowling Club $300
-Melrose Tennis Club $2,000
-Rocky River Pistol Club $5,000
-Southern Flinders Dressage Club $4,000
-Spencer Gulf Off Road Association $2,750
